Good to know

Christa is a mother who has raised two of her own, and helped raise more, through the teenage years, so she knows how it goes at bedtime, homework time and beyond. A short meet-and-greet is a good idea, so you and your children can get to know me and you can ask any questions. References are available on request. Christa has First Aid and AED training, from her resume.

Rates

Simple, honest pricing

Services are at your home off base in Stuttgart and the surrounding area. Christa lives downtown and cannot enter US bases without a sponsor, so base access cannot be promised. On-base visits: access has to be arranged ahead of time, ask when you book.

Child Care

per hour · 3-hour minimum

Minimum booking of 3 hours
€35 per hour after 10pm
Extra child: +€5 per hour
Travel: €5 per 15 minutes of travel time
33% deposit for new clients

Good to know

Can I meet Christa before booking?

Yes. A short meet-and-greet is a good idea so you and your children can get to know her, and you can ask any questions.

Are references available?

References are available on request.

Where does child care take place?

At your home off base in Stuttgart and the surrounding area. Christa lives downtown and cannot enter US bases without a sponsor, so she cannot promise base access.

Will I get updates while I am out?

Yes, a quick text update during the evening.

What does child care cost?

Child care is €30 per hour with a 3-hour minimum, €35 per hour after 10pm, and +€5 per hour for each extra child. Travel is €5 per 15 minutes of travel time, and new clients pay a 33% deposit.

What if I need someone at short notice?

Send a message and Christa will tell you honestly what she can do.

Whose rules do you follow?

Yours. Share your routines and house rules and Christa follows them.

How do I book?

Fill in the form at the bottom of this page with your kids' ages and the evening you have in mind. The minimum booking is 3 hours.

Need an evening or later time, or anything else? Add it here and Christa will confirm.

Cancellation policy: free cancellation 7 or more days before the visit. Less than 7 days and at least 72 hours before: 25% of the booked price. Less than 72 hours before: 50%. No-show: 100%. One free reschedule with at least 7 days notice. You may prove that no loss, or a lower loss, occurred. Any deposit paid is credited against these amounts and otherwise refunded.

I have read the cancellation policy I expressly request that Christa starts the service before the 14-day withdrawal period ends. I understand that if I withdraw, I pay for services already provided, and that I lose my right of withdrawal once the service is fully provided (§ 356(4), § 357a BGB).
